What are Romance services?
They're a suite of mobile voice chatting and dating lines that allow you to meet and talk with people anonymously. You can also send and receive private voice messages or talk in real time. You must be over 18 to use Romance services.

How much does it cost to use?
Romance services cost 79¢ per minute plus applicable taxes. They're not included in your regular monthly airtime plan.
The Romance services you use will appear on the detail page of your Fido invoice and on the summary page under "# services".
Taxes and other charges are not included.

Can I use Romance services on my mobile phone?
Romance services are voice services and work with all Fido phones.

Is there a limit to how long I can chat?
Yes. To control fraud or accidental activation, call durations have been set with a maximum limit per call, per day and per month.
Once you've reached your maximum time, you'll receive a message on your Fido. You may continue using the service once you start a new call/day/week/month.

What happens when I roam?
Romance services are available only in Canada on the Fido-Rogers network. They're not available while roaming outside of your coverage area.

Will the person with whom I'm chatting be able see my name or number?
No. Romance services allow you to talk with people anonymously. Your name and number are never disclosed.

Can I block access on my phone?
Yes. Just call Fido Customer Service at 611 from your Fido or 1 888 481-3436 to disable Romance services.
