How to change your prepaid plan

As a Fido prepaid customer, you have the flexibility to change your plan.

Before to proceed with your plan change, take note of the following important information:

Things to Know

  • If you change for a By the Day or By the the Month plans, your balance must be sufficient to cover the daily/monthly fee.
  • If you change from a By the Day to any other plan , you lose the benefits of the initial By the Day plan and the new plan is effective immediately.
  • If you change from By the Month to any other plan, you lose any unused portion of the previous plan and the new plan is effective immediately.
  • You cannot combine 2 different prepaid plans.
  • Long distance, out of zone, data usage is not included in your plan. See available prepaid add-ons for more information.

How to proceed

Changing your plan using our Automated Voice Response (IVR) system

From your Fido phone, dial 6-1-1, free of charge, and follow these steps:

  • Press 3 for Account changes
  • Press 1 for Change Price Plan
  • Choose the plan of your choice and follow the instructions.

In case you don't have your Fido phone handy, dial 1-888-482-3436 from a different phone and follow these steps:

  • Select your preferred language
  • Press 3 for Account changes
  • Press 1 for Change Price Plan
  • Enter your Fido number and PIN code
  • Choose the plan of your choice and follow the instructions.
Changing your plan from your computer using My Account
  • Log in to My Account
  • Select Change your plan under Payment Information section.
  • Choose the plan of your choice and follow the instructions.
