Auto Refill service

Let Fido take care of your refills for you! With Auto Refill we will refill your account automatically when needed.

Low Balance option: with this option, your account will automatically be refilled with the amount you select (same as voucher values) whenever your account balance is about to expire OR if your balance falls below $1.

Recurring option1 : if you have a By the Month, By the Year plan or monthly add-on, Auto Refill will charge your credit card automatically for each one on its due date. The Low Balance option can be added to cover charges that are not included in the plan and/or add-ons.

Things to Know

  • Your credit card must be registered to your account.
  • The credit card and address must correspond to a valid Canadian address.
  • The name and address of your prepaid account must match the information registered with your credit card’s financial institution. This is to protect you from fraudulent use of your credit card.
  • Maximum number of credit card refills: 10 in any 30 day period.
  • Credit card refills are not permitted in accounts with a balance of $1,000 or more.

How to Sign up to Auto Refill from your phone or fido.ca

From your Fido phone

Sign up to the recurring Auto Refill option and/or add the Low Balance Auto Refill Option:

  • Dial 611 from you Fido or 1 888 482-3436 from any other phone

From fido.ca

  • Log in to My Account. If you haven't already registered on fido.ca, register now.
  • Select Credit card in the Refill section
  • Select Sign up for Auto Refill
  • Check off the Sign up to recurring option checkbox
  • If you want to add the Low Balance Auto Refill option:
    • Check off the Sign up to the Low Balance option checkbox
    • Select an amount in the Balance falls below dropdown.
    • Select a refill amount in the Refill with dropdown.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click on Submit.
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page.

Note: All By the Year plans, By the Month plans and monthly add-ons active on the account will be automatically covered when signing up to the Auto Refill recurring option. If you add or remove or modify an add-on, or your By the Month plan or By the Year plan, the recurring option will automatically adjust the charges for each one on its due date.

If you decide not to register to the Low Balance option when you sign up for Auto Refill, you will be able to add this option later in Manage my Auto Refill.

How to modify the Auto Refill amount on fido.ca

Only customers registered to the Low Balance Auto Refill option can modify their refill amount.

  • Log in to My Account. If you haven't already registered on fido.ca, register now.
  • Select Credit card in the Refill section
  • Select Manage my Auto Refill
  • Select the tab Modify Low balance option
  • Select an amount in the Balance falls below dropdown.
  • Select a refill amount in the Refill with dropdown.
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click on Submit.
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page.
How to cancel the Auto Refill on fido.ca

To cancel only the Low balance option

  • Log in to My Account. If you haven't already registered on fido.ca, register now.
  • Select Credit card in the Refill section
  • Select Manage my Auto Refill
  • Select the tab Cancel Low balance option
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click on Submit.
  • Confirm the transaction
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page.

To cancel the recurring option

  • Log in to My Account. If you haven't already registered on fido.ca, register now.
  • Select Credit card in the Refill section
  • Select Manage my Auto Refill
  • Select the tab Cancel recurring option
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click on Submit.
  • Confirm the transaction
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page.
Note: By removing the recurring option, your account will no longer be automatically refilled with your credit card when your services fees are due. If the Low Balance option is active on your account, it will also be removed.
