Results are approximations. Actual usage will vary based on content and usage patterns. The data used in this calculator includes downloaded (incoming) and uploaded (outgoing) data transmissions. Since both downloaded and uploaded data is billed, this gives you a more accurate estimate of your estimated usage. Some data calculators only consider downloaded content, which may not provide as accurate an estimate of usage.

If you will be using bandwidth for activities not listed, such as tethering, or you know your actual usage will differ (for example, if you will be sending and receiving large email attachments or images), make sure you choose the data add-on that is right for you.

Attachments received on a BlackBerry smartphone can be viewed instead of downloaded, which dramatically reduces the amount of data transmitted over the network.
