How to register a My Account profile

Registering for My Account is a breeze! Once your profile is created, you can easily manage your Fido services online or through our app.

Before you start:

  • If you’ve already registered for My Account and are having trouble signing in, visit How to recover your My Account username or reset your password
  • Not sure what account type or profile type applies to you? As an Account Holder, you own the Fido account. Meanwhile, Account Members or Subscribers are members of a Fido account owned by someone else. Prepaid customers can also register for My Account. Check out the steps for all three types below.

How to register as an Account Holder:

  1. Go to the My Account registration page.
  2. Select Account Holder.
  3. Enter the email address you want to use as your My Account username and select Continue.
    • We suggest using the email you provided when you activated your services as this will allow you to skip to step 5.
    • The email entered at this step will be used for My Account password recovery purposes.
  4. Enter your 9-digit account number, postal code and date of birth, then select Continue.
    • You can find your account number at the top of your monthly paper bill, in the monthly email notifying you that your online bill is ready, and on the first page of your service agreement (if you signed up in-store).
  5. Once you’ve entered your username in step 3 (or entered your account information if you’ve come from step 4) we’ll email you a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code into the boxes on-screen and select Continue.
  6. You’ll then be prompted to create a My Account password. Select Continue to set your password.
  7. Once you’ve set your password, you’ll be able to sign in to your My Account profile automatically – just select Go to account. A confirmation email will also be sent to you.

How to register as an Account Member:

  1. Go to the My Account registration page.
  2. Select Account Member.
  3. Enter your mobile phone number (it can be any valid mobile number associated with the account) and check the box beside I’m not a robot. Select CONTINUE. A verification code will be sent to your mobile phone.
  4. Enter the 7-digit verification code you received and select VERIFY ME.
    • If you don’t receive the code, click RESEND CODE or SEND TO A DIFFERENT NUMBER to try again.
  5. Enter and re-enter your email address and select CONTINUE.
  6. Check your email for the registration email and select SET PASSWORD.
  7. Enter and re-enter your password and select SET PASSWORD.
  8. Choose GO TO YOUR OVERVIEW. You can now log in to your account.

How to register as a Prepaid customer:

  1. Go to the My Account registration page and select
  2. Fill out all the registration fields and select Continue.
    • Please don’t use your Fido Mobile email address (e.g. yourname@fido.ca)
  3. Select OK. We'll send an activation email to the email address you entered.
  4. Open the My Account email we sent you from account-update@fidomobile.ca and select
  5. Enter your username and password and click LOG IN.
  6. To connect your account, select “I’m a Fido prepaid customer”.
  7. Fill out your Account Details. Enter your phone number and select Send me a code.
  8. Enter the code on the next page and select Continue.
  9. You can now log in with your username and password.
