How to get an add-on for your plan

Fido offers different Add-ons to cover all your voice, messaging, travel and entertainment needs. You can get an Add-on on fido.ca or manage it via phone by using our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) phone system, the Fido Mobile Internet Portal or by speaking with a Fido specialist.

Things to Know

·         When adding or removing an add-on, the new monthly charge or credit (if applicable) will be prorated. The amount and usage will appear on your next invoice.

·         When adding an add-on with a bucket of units*, no usage details will appear in the usage details available on My Account or the IVR until the beginning of your next billing cycle.

*The term “unit” is used to refer to a type of usage, i.e. airtime minutes, text messages, etc.
Changes to your account (e.g., monthly airtime plan, options or identifiers) may not take effect until after your next billing date.

How to proceed

Steps:

1.       Open the My Account app on your Fido phone.

2.       Under My Services, select Manage My services.

Things to Know

 

  • It can take up to 24 hours before the subscription request takes effect.
  •  Once your subscription takes effect, you will receive a text message confirming that the transaction was completed. You may begin to use the add-on immediately.

 

How to proceed

1.       Dial 6-1-1,from your Fido phone. If you have any other phone, call 1-888-481-3436 instead. This service is free.
