How to register a Fido My Account profile

You can register for a Fido My Account in just a few steps! Once your profile is created, you can easily manage your account online or through our app.

If you have previously registered and logged into Fido My Account and are having trouble accessing your account, please visit this article to solve My Account access issues.

Automated registration via “welcome” email or text message:

If you’re brand new to Fido and on a postpaid plan, you will have provided your email to us during the purchase process. We use this email as your My Account username and start the registration process on your behalf, which saves you time!

If you are a wireless customer, you will also have the option to complete the automated registration process via SMS.

Read on to learn how to complete the automated registration process.

To complete your registration using the “welcome” email:

  1. Open the email we sent you when you joined Fido. The subject line reads Let’s set up your Fido Account now.
  2. Select Complete Set-Up. Note: This link expires after the first click. If your link is expired, you’ll be asked to re-enter your email address to receive a new link.
  3. Enter and confirm your new password to complete the registration.
  4. You’ll see a success message and can now log into My Account using your username (email) and password.

To complete your registration via text message:

  1. Click on the SMS link sent to your newly activated Fido mobile number. The text should read, Hi, it’s Fido!   7. Select Verify. We’ll re-direct you to fido.ca.
  8. Enter your username and password.
  9. Select Log in.
  10. Select I’m a Fido Prepaid Customer.
  11. Enter your prepaid phone number.
  12. Select Send Me a Code. We’ll send you a 4-digit verification code by text.
  13. On the next page, enter the code.
  14. Select Continue.
  15. Select Go to My Account to complete the registration process.
  16. You’ll see a success message and can now log into My Account by selecting Go to My Account.
