Beginning September 30, 2008, Canadians can limit telemarketing calls they receive by adding their home, mobile, VoIP or fax number to the National Do Not Call List. Once registered, your specified phone number will be removed from any telemarketing lists within 31 days – from any company – for a period of three years.
Important note for Fido customers:
The National Do Not Call List excludes calls from companies with whom you have an existing business relationship. If you wish to manage your Fido communications specifically, please call us at 1-888-481-FIDO (3436) or 611, free of charge, from your Fido.
