Understanding your handset purchase charged
on your bill
Credits and charges associated with your phone purchase will be found under the Other charges and credits section of your monthly bill.
Here are 3 examples of how your phone could be charged on your bill:
- Phone purchase with agreement rebate
- Your phone will be charged at full price, minus the respective agreement rebate.
- i.e.: The phone costs $100 - $60 agreement rebate = $40 + taxes.
- Phone purchase with agreement and FidoDollarsTM credit
- Your phone will be charged at full price, minus the respective agreement rebate, plus the taxes AND your FidoDollars credit.
- i.e.: The phone costs $100 - $50 agreement rebate = $50 + taxes. Therefore, $50 + taxes = $56.44 – $25 FidoDollars credit= $31.44.
