How to add a recovery phone number to your My Account profile

If you forget your username or password, we can send a text to your recovery phone number. Learn how to add or update this phone number in your My Account settings below.

Keep in mind: This number must belong to a mobile phone.

  1. Log into My Account.
  2. Go to Profile & Settings.
  3. Under Profile, you’ll see either a Set up now or Edit link next to Mobile recovery number. Follow the link.
  4. Enter your mobile number and select CONTINUE. We’ll send you a text message with a verification code.
  5. Enter the verification code and select VERIFY ME!.

That’s it! You’ll get a confirmation email that the recovery number has been added to your My Account profile.
