If it still doesn’t work, you might want to tell the person you are trying to reach that he will have to contact his service provider. Since you are able to send a text message (SMS) to yourself, the problem does not result from your Fido service.

Make sure you're dialling the number correctly. The number should be as follow: "+" sign + Area Code + full telephone number
