How to get started

To launch the Fido Mobile Internet Portal HOME page, simply select the Internet icon from your main menu or text HOME to 4836 to be sent a link to the portal. From there, start browsing or select MY ACCOUNT or SHOP to do what you want. You can also get to any of the thousands of mobile Internet sites by just entering the address on your phone and then book marking it for easy access.

If you subscribe to a monthly package and want to switch to prepaid service, a migration fee of $35 will be applied to your last invoice. Additional charges such as an early cancellation fee may apply if you've opted for a Fido Agreement.

FAIRCALL Prepaid Collect Calling Service

 Allows you to place collect calls4 from within Canada to landlines and mobile numbers in North America. The person receiving your call will be asked to accept the following fees for the call which are in addition to standard airtime rates they are subject to
  • A person accepting the collect calls to a landline: $4.99 connection + $1.59 additional min.
  • A person acception the collect calls to a mobile phones: $10.00 per call for a maximum of 10 minutes talk time. Additional calling charges may apply

1. Long distance and/or roaming fees will also apply as applicable.

2. There are no data charges applied when sending a video or picture/video/audio message within Canada. If you are roaming outside of Canada, data charges will apply on a per KB basis at the applicable roaming rate. The same service charges apply to all picture/video/audio messages sent, regardless of whether they're sent from fido.ca or from your phone. The size of your message cannot exceed 300KB, or sometimes less, depending on your phone model. Refer to the manufacturer's guide.

3. There are no charges to receive a picture/video/audio message to a camera phone or a picture/video/audio message notification to a non-camera phone. If you choose to view images/files through your phone's mobile internet browser data charges will be incurred on a pay-per-day basic or per your Unlimited On-Device Mobile Browsing Add On.

4. Once a collect call is accepted, charges for the Faircall service will be added to the phone bill of the person you are calling (for a landline) or will be charged via premium SMS (for Mobile phones).
