Calling charges
When you place or receive a call outside of your local calling area, while travelling in Canada on the Fido network, you are charged for airtime and long-distance - you are not charged for roaming because you are still on the Fido network*.
Here’s how it works:

Roaming while in Canada
When you travel in Canada you will only incur roaming charges when you are in an area where there is no Fido coverage, such as Dryden, Ontario or the North West Territories. In these areas, you will be using the wireless service of a partner wireless carrier.
