How it works
Refer a friend to Fido, and we'll thank you and your friend for your loyalty with a great offer.
On fido.ca:
- Log in to My Account
- If not registered yet, click on Log in, on the top right of your screen, and then enter your Fido number in the Not Yet registered? field section.
- Click on Refer a friend under My Fido Service section.
- Complete the online form with your friend’s information and follow the instructions.
- We will send a referral code to your friend’s email address you have provided in the form.
- Once the referral code is sent by email, ask your friend to call 1-888-481-3436 or to visit a Fido store to subscribe.
At a Fido store:
- Visit a Fido store to get a referral code.
- Provide it to your friend and ask your friend to call 1-888-481-3436 or to visit a Fido store to subscribe.
On the phone:
- Call 6-1-1, free of charge, from your Fido phone or 1-888-481-3436 to get a referral code.
- Provide it to your friend and ask your friend to call 1-888-481-3436 or to visit a Fido store to subscribe.
What you should know
Before you start referring your friends, make sure of the following:
- You must have been an active customer for a minimum of 15 days and you must use a different referral code per referred friend.
- You must get a referral code before your friend activates a Fido number.
- Your friend must provide the referral code to the representative before the line activation process starts.
- Both of you must keep your services active for a minimal period of 90 days, at which time the credit will be applied to both accounts.
- You cannot refer yourself. If you have multiple lines on the same account, the name of the user must be different.
