Earning
With every monthly invoice, earn a portion of your eligible service charges as FidoDOLLARS. We'll also surprise you all year long with fun contests and promotions giving you FidoDOLLARS bonuses.
The following services allow you to earn FidoDOLLARS:
+ Monthly plan + Add-ons + 9-1-1 Emergency Access Fee (if applicable) + System Access Fee (if applicable) + Additional minutes + Long-distance charges + Roaming charges
+ Text and email messages + Data transmission + Directory assistance + Paper invoice fee
All other fees, including administration, interest and resumption fees, taxes, phone purchases, SIM cards and accessories do not allow you to earn FidoDOLLARS. Each of your FidoDOLLARS corresponds to one (1) dollar applicable to the regular price in effect at the time of FidoDOLLARS redemption, including applicable taxes, except for taxes applicable to option services, which cannot be paid using FidoDOLLARS.

You can use your FidoDOLLARS to get a new phone, a Travel Pack or an add-on. Did you know each of your FidoDOLLARS = $1?
You'll notice your balance on your eStatement and other Fido communications.

Get Add-ons
When you want a new add-on, you can pay with your FidoDOLLARS for the first month or two. See table to know how many FidoDOLLARS you need for each add-on and how long they last.
Travelling outside Canada? Use your FidoDOLLARS to purchase a Travel Pack and enjoy big savings on voice and text messaging. You'll need to have accumulated FidoDOLLARS equivalent to the cost of your Travel Pack.
On your invoice
All your FidoDOLLARS transactions will appear on your next bill. FidoDOLLARS are not taxable. FidoDOLLARS are applied on the total amount of the bill, including taxes, for handset, but applied only on the amount before taxes for add-ons. FidoDOLLARS used will appear under the Other Charges and Credits section of your bill.
Unused balance
If you cancel your monthly service, unfortunately you won't be able to use your FidoDOLLARS, and they can't be applied to a final invoice.
FidoDOLLARS are applied as a form of payment, after taxes, on the purchase of regularly priced phones and some Fido services. Participants accumulate FidoDOLLARS based on eligible fees and charges incurred and paid by participants for the use of Fido Service, before applicable taxes, and after all credits are deducted. Fees such as administration fees, interest, resumption fees, taxes, cost of phones, accessories, and smart cards are inadmissible for earning FidoDOLLARS. A $25 Hardware Upgrade Administration Fee applies. See the Fido Rewards Program Terms and Conditions for all the details and for a complete list of eligible fees and charges. FidoDOLLARS cannot be exchanged for cash. FidoDOLLARS cannot be returned or credited back to the account. Your account must be in good standing.
