Call Display
See the caller's number on your handset display, or their name if you've entered them in your phone book.
You can attach pictures or images to your contacts to see who's calling with just one glance.
To block your number from being displayed on someone’s handset, enter #31# before dialing the number

Call Waiting
Don’t miss an important call when you're already on the line. Call Waiting notifies you with a soft beep when someone is trying to get through.
It can be activated/deactivated from the call settings menu on your handset, or by using the following codes:
- Activate: *43#, then press Send.
- Deactivate: #43#, then press Send.
- Verify status: *#43#, then press Send.

Fido Mobile Internet Portal
It’s your gateway to the mobile Internet, to a ton of downloadable content and on-the-go management of your Fido account, and is cleverly broken down into 3 main areas: HOME, SHOP and MY ACCOUNT.
- HOME: Get one-click access to popular sites like Google™, Yahoo! ®, Windows Live™, Facebook™, Twitter, MySpace and more. Plus stay connected to the world with the latest news/sports/celebs headlines.
- SHOP: Shop 24/7 for music, ringtones, games and videos, plus we’ll even send you recommendations for content we think you'll love.
- MY ACCOUNT: Secure access to your account any time, anywhere: Select My Account, on your phone to refill with a voucher, view your account balance and check your airtime, messaging and data usage.
How to get started
To launch the Fido Mobile Internet Portal HOME page, simply select the Internet icon from your main menu or text HOME to 4836 to be sent a link to the portal. From there, start browsing or select MY ACCOUNT or SHOP to do what you want. You can also get to any of the thousands of mobile Internet sites by just entering the address on your phone and then book marking it for easy access.

How much it costs
Get free access to MY ACCOUNT and to SHOP for downloadable content while on the Fido network – you only pay for what you download. It's free to browse the HOME page and news headlines; however, you'll need to purchase a Day Pass to get the full browsing experience, including access to top Internet and social networking sites, and full news stories.
BROWSE-BY-THE-DAY
A Data Day Pass is perfect if you just want to try the mobile Internet or if you only browse once in a while. The Day Pass replaces the previous pay per KB of data option that you may have used in the past and will provide you with more cost certainty.

Balance & validity notifications
Receive a message on your Fido after a call anytime there’s less than $5 in your account or less than five days remaining in your validity period. You’ll receive these messages on your handset display.

Long distance
Long distance calls anywhere in Canada or the U.S. are 40¢/minute for the first 5 minutes of each day and 20¢/minute for all other minutes that day. That is 50% off the long distance portion of your call when you speak for more than 5 minutes on any day.

Call Waiting: Airtime charges apply for active calls.
Call Forwarding: Airtime charges apply to all forwarded calls. Long-distance charges apply if calls are forwarded to a number outside your Local Calling Area.

Prepaid service customers automatically receive balance and validity notifications free of charge upon activation. You can always verify your balance and expiry date by dialing *225, free of charge. The information will be sent directly on your Fido.

All calls made or received in the U.S. are billed on a per-minute basis. Picture messages can be exchanged between customers of any Canadian wireless provider as well as with Sprint/Nextel, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.
Customers calling toll-free numbers (1-800, 1-888 and others) while roaming in the U.S.: airtime charges apply and long-distance charges may apply.
Local airtime and long distance continue to be free of charge for Fido customers calling Fido Customer Service while roaming.
Access to the expanded network is free for a limited time for prepaid service customers and calls are charged at the same rate as within Fido's basic coverage.
Airtime, usage and long-distance charges may apply. Canadian, U.S. and international long-distance rates are subject to change without notice.
Each month, the 911 Emergency Access Fee is charged to provide our customers with access to emergency services. This is not a government fee or tax. Certain provinces charge an additional 911 government fee.
If you subscribe to a monthly package and want to switch to prepaid service, a migration fee of $35 will be applied to your last invoice. Additional charges such as an early cancellation fee may apply if you've opted for a Fido Agreement.
