How to purchase a Data Day or Data Month Pass:
Pre-purchase while still on Fido's Network:

1. Text ‘Travel' to 7626 or visit http://www.fido.ca/m/roam on your mobile device browser.
2. All pre-purchased Roaming Data Passes only become active upon using data services while roaming in the respective region that the Data Pass is applicable for (IE: US data roaming usage will trigger the activation of a US Roaming Data Pass).
3. The activation of your Roaming Data Pass will be confirmed via a text message.
4. All pre-purchased Roaming Data Passes expire after 30 days if still not activated.
Purchase while Roaming:

1. When you arrive at your destination, your mobile device will receive a text message from Fido notifying you that you are roaming. It also provides applicable roaming rates, useful information and a link to purchase discounted roaming offers (link is free).
2. Follow the prompts on your mobile device browser to purchase the Roaming Data Day or Month Pass that suits your needs.
3. You will receive a text message confirming your purchase.
4. If you exceed your time or data limit you will automatically be presented with the option to purchase another roaming data day/month pass before you can continue to use data services on your device.
Text TRAVEL to 7626 to get a Travel Pack or Roaming Data Pass
- Includes on-device mobile browsing, email, Instant Messaging, and application usage, excluding tethering (use as wireless modem), on select Fido-certified devices.
- Roaming Data Day Pass is valid from the time of activation for 24 hours or until the data limit for the Day Pass purchased is reached, whichever is earlier. For example, if the Day Pass was activated at 10:00 AM EST and you have not used all of the included data, then it will expire on the following day at 10:00 AM EST.
- Roaming Data Month Pass is valid from the time of activation for 744 hours or until the data limit for the Month Pass purchased is reached, whichever is earlier. For example, if the Month Pass was activated at 10:00 AM EST and you have not used all of the included data, then it will expire on the 31st following day at 10:00 AM EST.
- U.S. Data Day Pass and U.S. Data Month Pass are valid while roaming in the United States (including Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands).
- International Data Day Pass and International Data Month Pass are valid while roaming internationally (excluding Bahamas, Belize, Cruise Ships, Cuba, Puerto Rico, U.S. U.S. Virgin Islands).
- Premium Destination Data Day Pass and Premium Destination Data Month Pass is only valid while roaming in the Bahamas, Belize, Cuba or on a cruise ship offshore.
- When on a cruise ship, near land or porting, your device may be picked up by a land based carrier’s network and subsequent usage will only be applicable to a Premium Data Pass if the land destination is included in the pass.
