This service allows you to reach the first available taxi company closest to your location anywhere in Canada, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learn what #TAXI is and how much it costs.

Things to Know

You will receive a free text message with the name and the contact details of the cab company assigned to your call.
If after three attempts, the system is unable to recognize the language or city that you have indicated, you will be forwarded automatically to the #TAXI customer service where a representative will suggest a cab company.

How to use #TAXI

When you need a taxi

Dial #TAXI (#8294) from your Fido phone
Select your language
Say the name of the city you are in. You can also say the name of the taxi company of your choice.
You will then be transferred to the first available taxi company or to the company of your choice.

Using #TAXI while travelling

In Canada on the Fido network:

You can use #TAXI anywhere on the Fido network.

While in the U.S. or Internationally:

This service is not available outside Fido network.
