Call Forwarding
See Monthly service
Call Forwarding allows you to redirect your incoming calls, or divert them to another number after a few rings. Learn what Call Forwarding is and how much it costs.
Things to Know
- Long distance charges apply if you've forwarded your calls to a number outside your local calling area.
- The option is only available on selected phones. Check your phone's User Guide to see if it supports this option.
- Unless calls are forwarded to your Voice Messaging service, the forwarded time is charged but your regular airtime isn't deducted from your prepaid plan.
There are two ways to use Call Forwarding: Unconditional and Conditional
Unconditional Call ForwardingNo calls are received on your phone, and all incoming calls are redirected to the number you choose. For instance:
- Whenever you're at home and don't want to answer two different numbers (landline and cell phone) you can simply forward your cell phone calls to your home phone.
Conditional Call Forwarding (only available when you don't have Voice Messaging)Redirects calls if you're out of reach, if you don't reply or if you're busy. For instance:
Out of reach:
- Your incoming calls are redirected to a chosen number if your phone is switched off or is outside your coverage area.
No reply:
- Your incoming calls are redirected to a chosen number if you don't answer (normally within 20 seconds).
Busy
- Your incoming calls are redirected to a chosen number when you're already on a call.
