#TAXI

This service allows you to reach the first available taxi company closest to your location anywhere in Canada, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Learn what #TAXI is and how much it costs.

Things to Know

  • You will receive a free text message with the name and the contact details of the cab company assigned to your call.
  • If after three attempts, the system is unable to recognize the language or city that you have indicated, you will be forwarded automatically to the #TAXI customer service where a representative will suggest a cab company.

How to use #TAXI

When you need a taxi:
  • Dial #TAXI (#8294) from your Fido phone.
  • Select your language.
  • Say the name of the city you are in. You can also say the name of the taxi company of your choice.
  • You will then be transferred to the first available taxi company or to the company of your choice.
Using #TAXI while travelling

In Canada on the Fido network:

Outside of Fido’s network in Canada, in the U.S. or Internationally:

  • This service is not available outside Fido network.
