Things to Know
- You must have reached the age of majority in your province to use Romance services.
- Fido won’t share your name or phone number unless you decide to during a conversation.
- The Romance & Psychic services you use will appear on the details page of your Fido invoice and on the summary page under "# services".
How to use Romance & Psychic Services
On your phone
- Dial the # number of your choice.
- Some # services require you to confirm your age before you can access the service.
- Follow the instructions.
Call Fido Customer Service at 6-1-1 from your Fido phone or 1-888-481-3436 to disable Romance & Psychic services.
- All # services will be blocked; it isn’t possible to block or unblock a specific service only.
To limit fraud or accidental activation, call durations have been set with a maximum time limit per call, per day and per month. Once you've reached your maximum time limit, you'll receive a message on your phone. You can continue using the service once you start a new call/day/week/month.
The maximum time limits are as follows:
- Maximum of 30 minutes per call
- Maximum of 60 minutes per day
- Maximum of 150 minutes per weekend
- Maximum of 400 minutes per month
In Canada on the Fido network:
- You can use Romance & Psychic services anywhere on the Fido network.
- This type of service won’t incur long distance charges. Only regular airtime charges apply.
Outside of the Fido network in Canada, the U.S. and internationally:
- This service is not available outside Fido’s network.
