Tab24 and agreement expiry date at a glance
When you enter into a 2-year Tab24 agreement with Fido you get a phone at a discounted price. If you already have a Tab24 agreement and want to upgrade to a new phone with a new Tab24 agreement, you can do so within 30 days before the end of your current 2-year Tab24 agreement or by simply paying off your remaining Tab24 balance at any other time. Your new Tab24 agreement will then begin immediately.
Remember that your Tab24 balance reduces by the same amount every month and will be cleared in 24 months.

1. Tab24 balance corresponds to sum of Device savings recovery fees and/or service deactivation fee stated in your agreement. 2. Tab24 customers must pay remaining Tab24 balance. Device Savings Recovery Fee (applicable to Term Services only).
A Device Savings Recovery Fee (DSRF) applies if you were given an economic inducement when you agreed to your new term, and if, for any reason, your service or your new term is terminated prior to the end of the term of your Agreement (Fido Agreement Term). The DSRF is equal to the economic inducement multiplied by the number of months remaining in your Fido Agreement Term divided by the total number of months of your Fido Agreement Term (plus applicable taxes).
In other words, DSRF = Economic Inducement x # months left in your Fido Agreement Term ÷ Total # months in your Fido Agreement Term + applicable taxes.
Price Plan Downgrade Fee. If, for any reason, you downgrade to a lower tier plan category during your term, then you will be charged a one-time price plan downgrade fee as set out in your service agreement.
