How to change your address and other contact information
Make sure to provide Fido with your new address as soon as you have it, even if you haven’t yet moved in. That way you’ll be sure to receive all your bills on time, and not miss any important information we might send you or contact you about.
Change your mailing address and contact phone number:
Things to Know
- The change will be entered in our systems but will only take effect on the date you specify.
- If you’re moving in the same region (inside your current local calling area) you’ll keep the same cell phone number.
- If you’re moving to a different region (outside your current local calling area) you’ll need to change your Fido phone number to avoid long distance charges.
- If you subscribe to the Fido Wi-Fi Calling service, make sure to update your 911 emergency address.
On fido.ca
- Log in to My Account.
- Click Change Address in the Account Details section.
- Fill out all applicable fields and follow the instructions.
- A maximum of two changes of address per year can be made on fido.ca
By phone
- Dial 6-1-1, free of charge, from your Fido phone or 1-888-481-3436 if you’re using a different phone.
- Select English or French.
- If requested, enter your Fido phone number.
- Select Option 2, to talk to a representative.
- A customer service representative will assist you in completing your change.

Things to Know
- The change will be effective immediately.
On fido.ca
- Log in to My Account.
- Click Change Email Address in the Account Details section.
- Follow the instructions.
By phone
