How to switch to another phone

Buying in-store or at a kiosk

If you bought your phone from a Fido store or kiosk, just insert your old SIM card into your new phone, and it’s ready to use.

  4. View the ICCID (that’s your SIM number)

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap About Phone
  4. Tap Status
  5. View the ICCID (that’s your SIM number)

Note: Some older or newer Androids may not follow these steps. If you run into issues, look up how to find the ICCID for your particular model of phone on your phone manufacturer’s website.

If you reported your phone as lost or stolen

If you change your SIM card because you reported your phone was lost or stolen, you’ll need to log in to My Account and reactivate your service first.

To reactivate service on a phone previously reported lost or stolen:

  1. Log in to My Account
  2. Choose the number for the phone you want to reactivate.
  3. Select Reactivate My Device.
  4. Confirm your selection on the following page.
