Picture and Video Messaging (MMS)

Picture and Video Messaging (MMS) allows you to send and receive pictures and videos between wireless phones and even send pictures and videos to an email address.

Things to Know

  • MMS messages sent and received within Canada are included in most plans. Log into My Account to see the rates for your plan.
  • If picture/video messaging is not included with your plan you are subject to pay-per-use rates of $0.50/message to send/receive a picture/video message from your wireless phone while in Canada to another Canadian number.
  • Pay-per-use rates from Canada to US/International numbers: $0.75 per message sent
  • Rates for Prepaid plans can be found here
  • When you are unable to receive a MMS message (i.e.: battery drained, you are out of coverage or your phone is missing memory), the system will try to send the message every 15 minutes for the first hour, then once every hour for the next three days. After this period, the system will delete the text message and you will not be able to receive it.
  • When you send a message, your phone number will appear on the other person's screen, even if they don't have Call Display or if your number is confidential.
